FY26 Welcome Ceremony for New Employees
On April 1st, a welcome ceremony was held for the company’s 411 new employees. We are delighted that so many individuals have decided to become members of the Sumitomo Electric Group.
In my address to the new employees, I made the following three requests with their growth and future success in mind.
1. Thoroughly ensure safety and compliance.
2. Propose new initiatives and take on bold challenges.
3. Value communication and good health.
The Sumitomo Electric Group places great importance on the public interest. Accordingly, it is our policy to contribute to the betterment of society through the practice of “Goho-Yoshi" (“Five-Way Win” or multistakeholder capitalism). Furthermore, as this fiscal year marks the first year of our Mid-term Management Plan 2028, we are at a new milestone in our corporate journey. It’s my hope that everyone who has joined us will use this policy as a foundation to manifest their abilities to the fullest in their respective workplaces, as we all work together to build our company’s future.
I sincerely hope that all new employees will thrive as trusted citizens and enjoy a wonderful career in our company.
