Our Appreciation for Your Support This Year
We have only a few more days left this year.
The year 2022 has been another challenging one, with rising prices, shortages in the supply of raw materials and components, the prolonged Russian invasion of Ukraine, and the economic slowdown in China. On the other hand, however, the year also saw the gradual resumption of various events and overseas traffic, showing signs of a post-corona era.
Under these circumstances, we posted an increase in net sales in the second quarter due to the increased sales of wire harnesses, power cables, cemented carbide tools, etc. as well as a rise in copper prices. For the full-year forecast, we have announced an upward revision of net sales, with operating income and net income unchanged. We will continue to take on the challenges of possible changes in the business environment in the next fiscal year and beyond, working as one group.
I would like to express my deepest gratitude for your generous support and cooperation this year. Severe cold weather is expected both in Japan and overseas through the New Year holidays. Please take care and have a happy New Year.
