H-PCF

H-PCF is a type of optical fiber.
While general optical fibers are made of glass, only H-PCF's clad is made of high-hardness plastic. Since H-PCF has bigger core than other glass fibers and it can capture more light, lower cost modules can be used for building an optical communication system.
