Sumitomo Electric Industries, Ltd. will exhibit at the CIGRE 2026 Technical Exhibition to be held in Paris, France, from August 23 to 28, 2026. The Company will introduce power cable related products and solutions that contribute to the realization of a clean energy society and the development of reliable power transmission networks.

The CIGRE 2026 Technical Exhibition is one of the world's largest exhibitions dedicated to power system technologies, bringing together more than 300 companies, organizations, and experts in the power industry from over 100 countries around the world. The exhibition will feature the latest power system technologies and products, as well as opportunities for technical exchange and networking.

Sumitomo Electric will utilize the opportunity to showcase its direct current cross-linked polyethylene (DC XLPE) cable for long-distance, high-capacity power transmission and its ultra-long-distance monitoring systems that contribute to enhancing the reliability of these cable systems. The Company will also introduce its latest, state-of-the-art cable manufacturing facility located in Scotland and its initiatives in subsea and underground EPC projects, primarily in the UK and Europe.
