Sumitomo Electric Exhibits Cutting-Edge Electronics Products, Including Thunderbolt™5 Cables, at electronica 2026 ～ Showcasing a wide range of products from high-speed data transmission cables and FPCs to compound semiconductor wafers ～
Sumitomo Electric Industries, Ltd. will exhibit at electronica 2026, one of the world’s largest international trade fairs for electronic components and equipment, to be held in Munich, Germany, from Tuesday 10 November to Friday 13 November 2026. We will showcase a wide range of electronics related products, including high-speed data transmission cables compatible with the latest standards, flexible printed circuits (FPCs) and compound semiconductor wafers.
electronica is one of the world’s largest trade fairs for electronic components and equipment, held biennially in Munich, Germany. At the previous exhibition in 2024, approximately 3,500 companies exhibited and around 80,000 visitors attended.
At this year’s exhibition, we will showcase Thunderbolt™5 Cable, compatible with the latest specification of the high-performance Thunderbolt™ interface recommended by Intel, and the DisplayPort 2.1 Cable, compatible with the latest version of the DisplayPort standard developed by the Video Electronics Standards Association (VESA). These products support high-speed, high-capacity data transmission.
We will also showcase a wide range of electronics related products that support the development of high-speed communications and digital devices, including flexible printed circuits (FPCs) and compound semiconductor wafers made from materials such as Gallium Arsenide and Indium Phosphide.
