Sumitomo Electric Exhibits at the 7th China International Import Expo (CIIE), Introducing Products and Technologies for the Future of a Green Society

Sumitomo Electric Industries, Ltd. will exhibit at the 7th China International Import Expo (CIIE) to be held in Shanghai, from November 5 (Tuesday) to 10 (Sunday), 2024.

This exhibition is a comprehensive trade fair specialized in imports to China, organized by the Chinese government. Sumitomo Electric has been participating since 2021, and this will mark its fourth participation.

Based on the slogan "Creating a Green Society through our Connecting and Supporting Technologies" announced in its Mid-term Management Plan 2025, the Company will introduce product technologies in three key areas of energy, infocommunications, and mobility. It will also showcase sustainable initiatives contributing to the future of a green society and examples of product and technology introduced to China. Visitors will also have the opportunity to participate in hands-on events and a quiz corner.

The Company will update visitors on the progress of Sumitomo Pavilion, which will be a part of the Osaka-Kansai Expo 2025 under the Sumitomo Group. The Company is also preparing enjoyable contents such as a stamp rally co-hosted with Japanese companies and setting up a photo spot for the official expo character Myaku-myaku to welcome visitors.
