Sumitomo Electric Exhibits at GITEX GLOBAL 2022
Sumitomo Electric Industries, Ltd. will exhibit its products at the GITEX GLOBAL 2022 to be held in Dubai, UAE from October 10 to 14, 2022. This is one of the largest IT exhibitions in the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia.
GITEX (Gulf Information Technology Exhibition) is a world-class exhibition that showcases cutting-edge IT-related products and technologies that support next generation trends and future urban social planning, such as the 5G mobile communications, artificial intelligence (AI), Cloud edge, cyber security, fintech, blockchain, big data analytics, and smart city. This event was first held in 1981 and is now in its 42nd year.
Sumitomo Electric will present its telecommunication- and data center-related products, such as TYPE-72C+ flagship model of fusion splicer with AI technology, the new T-57C+ and T-502S fusion splicers, optical cables, optical fibers, and optical connectors. The Company will also demonstrate the installation of the field installable connector (Lynx-CustomFit™ Splice-On Connector) at the exhibition booth.
