Yo Katsukawa

Leader, Sales for Europe

Yo Katsutawa is currently assigned to the Optical Electronics Sales Department, where he leads sales activities for European customers since 2026. He joined Sumitomo Electric in 2019 and was initially assigned to the Industrial Systems Sales Department, Public and Transportation Group. There, he built strong expertise in railway infrastructure, power cables, and optical communication systems, contributing to maintaining high market share, completing large-scale projects, and expanding into new business areas through client engagement and strategic planning. 
During his university years, he was an active rugby player, competing as a flanker and serving as team captain — an experience that shaped the leadership and teamwork qualities he brings to his professional career today.
