Saki Hoshino

Leader, Sales for North America

Saki Hoshino joined Sumitomo Electric in 2023 and was assigned to both the Sales Department and the New Business Marketing Division. In her initial role through 2025, she was responsible for expanding sales of the fiberoptic passive products—including FTTH optical reflectors—to European customers, as well as promoting research-stage products such as Multi-Core Fiber developed by the Optical Communications Research Laboratory. From 2026 onward, her focus shifted to North American customers, where she now leads the sales expansion of multi-fiber connector parts, alongside continued promotion of Multi-Core Fiber and other research-originated products from the Research Laboratory.
