Sumitomo Electric Interconnect Products (M) Sdn. Bhd. (SEPM) was established in March 1988 as a subsidiary of Sumitomo Electric Industries Co. Ltd. Japan, the world leader in the research and development of leading-edge, high technology products and systems. SEPM currently produces Wires (Electronic wire, Automotive Wire, Data Transmission Cable), and Flat Cables (Sumicard, Shielded Sumicard, Steering Cable, Jumper Lead); SEPM also ventures into the production of Irradiated Wire using the Electron Beam Machines, which highly improves the heat resistance, flame resistance and better wire-end workability properties of the product.
