SUMITUBE™

SUMITUBE™ is heat-shrinkable tubing that takes advantage of the shape-memory effect of plastics enhanced by electron beam irradiation. It is made mainly from raw materials such as polyolefin, fluorinated polymer, or thermoplastic elastomer. SUMITUBE™ is widely used in various industrial fields (electric equipment, automobile, and aviation) for bundling, thermal protection, and insulation protection of electrical wires and harnesses, as well as for other purposes.

IRRAX™SLEEVE is relatively large bore heat-shrinkable tubing used in infrastructure applications, suitable for outdoor use. Heat-shrinkable tubing with a hot-melt adhesive inner liner provides a waterproof seal after shrinking. IRRAX™SLEEVE has weather resistance, waterproof and insulation. It is widely used in the fields of electric power cable, telecommunication, public work, bridge beams, plant buildings, and railways.
