Relief Aid for Victims of the Morocco Earthquake
We would like to offer our heartfelt prayers to those who lost their lives in the earthquake in Al Haouz, Morocco, and express our deepest condolences to all those who have been affected by the disaster.
The Sumitomo Electric Group has decided to donate a total of approximately 32 million yen from the Company and its European subsidiaries through the Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco in Japan and a fund established by the Moroccan government, respectively, in order to support the victims of the disaster and to assist in the reconstruction of the affected areas.

Sumitomo Wiring Systems, Ltd.: 10 million yen
European subsidiaries: 25,000 euros each (approximately 12 million yen in total)
